TikTok agrees to two-hour limit, filter ban for minors in Alabama settlement

TikTok agreed to impose a two-hour daily limit, restrict infinite scrolling and overnight access, ban beauty filters, and offer a non-personalized feed for underage users under its Alabama settlement resolving claims the app was deliberately designed to addict teens. The state will receive a minimum $100 million within 45 days.
