Control Resonant hides richest stories in optional collectibles

The Verge reports Control Resonant, Remedy's follow-up to 2019's Control, puts some of its richest material — including love stories — in optional documents, logs and recordings. Combat intel, by contrast, unlocks automatically via Threat Assessment Team logs. In this author's view, the split is efficient, letting optimizers skip the archive while lore hunters get rewarded.
