Supreme Court blocks Missouri's 2025 congressional map for November election

The U.S. Supreme Court on Sept. 25, 2026, blocked Missouri from using its 2025 congressional map in the November general election, requiring the 2022 and 2024 districts instead. The court warned that changing maps at this stage would cause "electoral chaos." The 2025 map was drawn to add a Republican-leaning House seat.
