UK's Help to Save pays £1,200 bonus on £2,400 saved over four years

Help to Save, a UK government-backed account for working Universal Credit recipients, pays 50p for every £1 saved. Savers can deposit up to £50 a month, with tax-free bonuses paid in years two and four. Saving the maximum £2,400 over four years yields £1,200. Expansion to parents and carers on Universal Credit is planned from 2028.
