Italy approves burqa and niqab ban in schools

The Italian government has approved a ban on the burqa and niqab in schools. Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said "You must go to school with your face uncovered." The hijab, which leaves the face visible, is allowed. Meloni called the measures "common-sense tools that do not divide but really help to integrate."
