Police evict 87-year-old Madrid tenant from home held since 1956

Police evicted Maricarmen Abascal, 87, who has a disability, from her rent-controlled flat in Madrid's Retiro district on Wednesday. She had lived there since 1956. The flat, an old renta antigua lease, was owned by real estate company Urbagestión. She will stay temporarily with relatives.
