NSE shares gained on BSE debut on Sept. 24

National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. shares gained on their Sept. 24 debut on the BSE. The gray market had indicated about a 2%-3% gain, Bloomberg reported, with retail demand subdued. I see little surprise here: buyers accepted a full price for the exchange operator, leaving scant room for a first-day pop.
