FBI Proposed Bribery Probe Into Susan Collins Over Contractor Donation

In late 2024, FBI agents proposed a bribery investigation into Sen. Susan Collins over a $150,000 defense contractor donation, ProPublica reported. Navatek CEO Martin Kao allegedly routed money through a shell company to Collins's Super PAC after seeking contract assurances, then claimed Collins would deliver $32 million in federal work.
