Brent crude fell to $98.16 after Trump reported Iran talks
Brent crude fell $1.09, or 1.1%, to $98.16 a barrel on September 23, 2026, after President Trump reported talks with Iran, per Yahoo Finance and Euronews. Cheaper oil, if it lasts, can ease petrol prices and inflation pressure that feeds into borrowing costs. I see this as diplomacy pricing, not settled relief.
