Firm size no guide to workplace safety, report finds

Company size has no relationship to workplace safety, economist Shamubeel Eaqub found in a report for the Business Leaders' Health and Safety Forum. He found no consistent pattern in injury rates by firm size and no evidence small firms are less risky. The report says the 20-worker threshold does not separate safe workplaces from unsafe ones.
