Van Velden defends c-word use in valedictory speech

ACT MP for Tāmaki Brooke van Velden used her final speech in Parliament to defend saying the c-word in the House last year. She said at the time it was in protest after a newspaper column directed the slur at her and other female ministers. Van Velden, the party's former deputy, is leaving politics at the election.
