At IFA 2026, Xiaomi confirmed its Fold 18 Pro foldable runs on the homemade XRING 03 SoC — a "Flagship AI SoC" combining CPU, GPU, NPU, and AI chipsets — rather than Qualcomm or MediaTek silicon.
