Fire Destroys 38 Fuel Tankers, 3 Million Litres at Northern Iraq Depot

A fire swept through a fuel storage depot in Tanjaro, near Sulaimaniyah in Iraq's Kurdistan Region, just before midnight on August 18. It destroyed 34 petrol tankers and four gas-oil tankers, consumed over 3 million litres of fuel, and injured at least 20 people, all with minor injuries.
