Uber and Zipline Partner on Drone Delivery for Uber Eats, Targeting One Million Daily Deliveries by 2029

Uber and Zipline announced a partnership on August 17, 2026, to deliver Uber Eats orders via Zipline's autonomous drones, targeting one million daily deliveries by end of 2029. First deliveries launch later this year in Pea Ridge, Arkansas, and Dallas-Fort Worth, then expand to additional cities. Uber made an undisclosed strategic investment in Zipline as part of the deal. Zipline has completed 2.7 million autonomous deliveries to date.
