Ukraine Strikes Russian Oil Refinery Deep in Tatarstan, Killing 13

At least 13 people, including a child, died and 39 were wounded when Ukrainian drones struck Nizhnekamsk, roughly 800 km east of Moscow. The city hosts one of Russia's largest refineries. Ukraine confirmed targeting the facility. It follows similar June and July 2026 attacks — a sustained campaign to degrade Russian fuel production far from the front lines.
