Rights group: Housing policy going backwards since 2023

The Human Rights Foundation's first report since restarting finds almost no progress on the right to a decent home since 2023. Chair Aaron Packard said government policy had reinforced housing as a speculative asset — an investment bought for profit, not shelter. Housing Minister Chris Bishop said the government was making progress.
