Housing rights group says New Zealand going backwards

A human rights group says New Zealand has made almost no progress on the right to a decent home since 2023. The group's chair, Aaron Packard, said government policy treats houses as investments to make money from, rather than places to live. Housing Minister Chris Bishop said the government is making progress.
