OpenAI Acquires NextSlide, Folds Presentation AI Into ChatGPT

OpenAI has acquired NextSlide, a startup whose AI generated editable slide decks from prompts, notes, or documents. The team now works on ChatGPT. Terms were not disclosed. Founder Ahmed Beshry said the deal closed "earlier this year" and the announcement was "a few months late." The standalone product has been shut down.
