OpenAI Acquires NextSlide, Brings Presentation-Generation Team Into ChatGPT

OpenAI has acquired NextSlide, a startup whose AI tool turned prompts, notes, documents, or research into polished, editable presentations. The NextSlide team is now working on ChatGPT. Financial terms were not disclosed. Founder Ahmed Beshry said the deal closed "earlier this year" and the announcement was "a few months late." The standalone product has been sunset.
