OpenAI Buys NextSlide, Adds Slide-Making Tool to ChatGPT

OpenAI has bought NextSlide, a startup whose tool turned plain text notes or research into polished, editable slide presentations. The team now works on ChatGPT. The price was not disclosed. Founder Ahmed Beshry said the deal closed "earlier this year" and was "a few months late" being announced. The standalone product has been shut down.
