Airbnb Says AI Writes 60% of New Code, Cuts Launch Time by 60%

Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky told analysts on the Q2 2026 earnings call that AI has cut concept-to-launch time by up to 60% and boosted shipped features nearly 80% year-over-year. The company previously disclosed that AI now writes 60% of its new code. Q2 revenue reached $3.6 billion, up 17%.
