Airbnb: AI Writes Most New Code and Speeds Up New Features

Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky told analysts on the Q2 2026 earnings call that AI has cut the time to build and launch new features by up to 60% and increased the number of features shipped by nearly 80% over last year. The company says AI now writes 60% of its new code. Q2 revenue was $3.6 billion, up 17%.
