Dolby Vision 2 Reaches Consumer TVs for the First Time on Hisense

Dolby Vision 2 is reaching consumer TVs via an over-the-air update to Hisense's 2026 RGB MiniLED models — the UX, UR9, UR8, and U7 — its first real-world deployment. TCL and Philips follow later in 2026. All sets require the MediaTek Pentonic 800 chip; existing Dolby Vision TVs cannot be upgraded.
