Dolby Vision 2 Reaches Consumer TVs for the First Time on Hisense

Dolby Vision 2 is arriving on consumer televisions via an over-the-air update to Hisense's 2026 RGB MiniLED models — the UX, UR9, UR8, and U7 — marking the format's first deployment beyond announcement. TCL and Philips will follow later in 2026. Both tiers require the MediaTek Pentonic 800 SoC; existing Dolby Vision TVs cannot be upgraded.
