Luxon pledges MMP and four-year term referendums if re-elected

Prime Minister Christopher Luxon has promised referendums on the MMP voting system and extending Parliament's term from three to four years if National wins on 7 November. Luxon told Newstalk ZB he wants the MMP vote next year. NZ First's Winston Peters called it a "power grab"; Labour's Chris Hipkins noted 58% backed MMP in 2011.
