A Hormuz Deal Narrows the Risk, Not the Threat

But Iran's parliament limited free passage to 60 days, the IRGC claimed sovereignty over the strait on July 13, and Iran stopped two vessels there on July 31. A deal reduces closure risk; it doesn't remove Iran's ability to interdict shipping.
