Snap CEO Evan Spiegel told investors on the company's Q2 2026 earnings call that mass-market adoption of its $2,195 Specs AR glasses likely won't happen until closer to the end of the decade. He cited weight and cost as barriers to meaningful unit volume growth. A September 2026 launch event is planned.
