Columnist Rod Liddle dies at 66

Rod Liddle, a Sunday Times and Sun columnist, has died aged 66 after a short illness in Middlesbrough. He previously edited BBC Radio 4's Today programme, where he hired Andrew Gilligan — whose 2003 report challenging the UK's Iraq dossier triggered the Hutton Inquiry. Liddle is survived by his three children.
