Writer Rod Liddle dies at 66

Rod Liddle, a writer for the Sunday Times and the Sun newspapers, has died aged 66 after a short illness in Middlesbrough. He once ran BBC Radio 4's Today news show and hired Andrew Gilligan, whose 2003 report on the UK's case for the Iraq War sparked a major public investigation. Liddle is survived by his three children.
