Luxon shifts tone on business relationship after 'parent-child' backlash

Prime Minister Christopher Luxon has told RNZ's Morning Report that government and business are "equal players" with complementary roles. Days earlier, he told a Rotorua Business Chamber audience some businesses had a "parent-child mentality". Labour's Barbara Edmonds called the original comments patronising. Luxon's office said she mischaracterised his remarks.
