Prime Minister changes tune on business after criticism

Prime Minister Christopher Luxon now says government and business are "equal players". Days earlier, he told a Rotorua business audience some companies had a "parent-child mentality" — suggesting they rely on government too much. Labour's Barbara Edmonds called the comments patronising. Luxon's office said she had misrepresented what he meant.
