Luxon backs off 'parent-child' framing, calls business 'equal players'

Prime Minister Christopher Luxon has told RNZ's Morning Report that government and business are "equal players" with complementary roles, days after telling a Rotorua Business Chamber audience some businesses had a "parent-child mentality". Labour's Barbara Edmonds called the original comments a patronising lecture. Luxon's office said she mischaracterised his remarks.
