Rep. Marcy Kaptur, longest-serving woman in House history, hospitalized after Toledo hit-and-run

Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D-Ohio), 80, was hospitalized after a two-vehicle hit-and-run in Toledo on August 2. Her office says she is alert with non-life-threatening injuries. Kaptur has served 43 years in the House — longer than any woman in the chamber's history — and is seeking re-election against Republican Derek Merrin.
