Capital One Seeks Dismissal of Trump Organization Lawsuit Over Account Closures

Capital One asked a Miami federal judge to dismiss the Trump Organization's lawsuit over about 385 account closures from 2021. The bank said its anti-money-laundering staff ordered the shutdowns after a monthslong review. The Trumps allege political "de-banking." Judge Roy Altman dismissed an earlier suit version in March; no ruling has issued on the renewed motion.
