
UK Revoking Residency Rights from EU Citizens Near Permanent Status
The UK Home Office has told at least 100 EU citizens their pre-settled status — a temporary residency permit — was granted "in error," just as they approach eligibility for permanent residency. Of 5.8 million under the EU Settlement Scheme, 1.3 million hold pre-settled status. Campaign group the3million warns hundreds of thousands could face similar revocation letters threatening removal.
