
UK Home Office revoking post-Brexit residency rights from EU citizens granted status "in error"
The UK Home Office has told at least 100 EU citizens their pre-settled status was granted "in error," just as they near eligibility to upgrade to permanent residency. Of 5.8 million people under the EU Settlement Scheme, 1.3 million hold pre-settled status. Campaign group the3million fears hundreds of thousands could face similar revocation letters threatening removal from the UK.
