Tourist Plane Crash at Peru's Nazca Lines Kills All 13 Aboard

All 13 people aboard — 11 passengers and two pilots — died on 1 August 2026 when a small sightseeing plane operated by Peruvian company Aerodiana crashed over the Nazca Lines, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in southern Peru. The flight had departed from Ica. Peruvian authorities are investigating; no cause has been disclosed.
