
13 Dead as Tourist Plane Crashes During Nazca Lines Sightseeing Flight in Peru
All 13 people aboard — 11 passengers and two pilots — died on 1 August 2026 when a small tourist plane operated by Peruvian company Aerodiana crashed over the Nazca Lines, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in southern Peru. The flight had departed from Ica. Peruvian authorities have launched an investigation; no cause has been disclosed.
