CipherX's microneedle tattoo patch: first independent hands-on

The Verge published the first independent test of CipherX's Microdot patch. CEO Ferdinand Kohle applied a quarter-sized patch with 112 biodegradable microneedles to a reporter's arm. After 15 minutes the needles dissolved, leaving a permanent tattoo with no pain, bleeding, scabbing, or healing time. CipherX launched the product July 24, 2026 in London.
