103 House Democrats Vote to Cut $3.3 Billion in Israel Aid

On July 15, 103 of 211 House Democrats voted for an amendment by Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) to eliminate $3.3 billion in U.S. military and humanitarian aid to Israel. An amendment is a proposed change to a bill. Ninety-eight Democrats voted to keep the aid; 10 voted present. Massie was the only Republican supporter, NPR reported July 31.
