Senate committee says LGBTQ+ veterans remedy doesn't go far enough

A Senate committee says the government's plan to wipe old service offences for LGBTQ+ members is too narrow. Many were never charged — they were forced out, pushed to resign, or stripped of clearances. The committee wants records corrected and honourable service recognised. The ADF banned gay members until 1990.
