Senate committee urges wider remedy for LGBTQ+ veterans pushed out of the ADF without conviction

Many LGBTQ+ personnel were never convicted — they were administratively discharged, forced to resign, or stripped of security clearances. The committee wants restorative outcomes, record annotations, and certificates of honourable service for those affected by the ADF's discriminatory policies, which banned homosexual members until 1990.
