Wisconsin judge blocks ballot do-overs after candidates exit primary

A Wisconsin judge on July 29 rejected a Democratic Party bid to let early absentee voters void and recast their ballots. Three candidates — Barnes, Rodriguez, and Hughes — have since withdrawn from the August 11 gubernatorial primary. An unknown number of voters who cast ballots for them now have no way to change their votes.
