H96 Streaming Sticks Ship as Preinstalled Ad Fraud Network

Bitsight researchers found that cheap H96 streaming sticks sold online arrive with apps that spoof mobile phone identities and silently generate fake ad clicks. A sinkholed telemetry domain — a server redirected to capture bot traffic — revealed tens of thousands of compromised devices worldwide. The operation was traced to China's Fengwo Group.
