Suffolk Wildfire Burns Near Sizewell B Nuclear Plant

A major wildfire on Dunwich Heath, declared 30 July, burned roughly three miles from the Sizewell B nuclear station. Suffolk Fire and Rescue reported no danger to the plant. EDF confirmed operations were unaffected and said it was "closely monitoring the situation." The fire's easterly path was moving it away from the site.
