gpiozero creator used Claude AI to build web UI for proposed GPIO visual tool

Ben Nuttall, who created the gpiozero Python library for Raspberry Pi in 2015, announced "gpiozero flow" on 25 July 2026 — a proposed drag-and-drop web UI for GPIO device connections. Nuttall built the frontend with Claude, Anthropic's AI assistant, citing the modern JavaScript knowledge the project required. The Python package and MVP spec are installable; documentation does not yet cover flow.
