gpiozero creator used Claude AI to scaffold JavaScript frontend for proposed visual GPIO tool

Ben Nuttall created the gpiozero Python library for Raspberry Pi in 2015. On 25 July 2026 he announced "gpiozero flow," a proposed web UI for drag-and-drop GPIO device connections. Nuttall built the frontend using Claude, Anthropic's AI assistant, noting the project required significant modern JavaScript knowledge he lacked. The Python package and MVP spec are installable; documentation does not yet cover flow.
