Raspberry Pi tool creator used AI assistant to build a new web interface

Ben Nuttall created gpiozero, a popular coding tool for Raspberry Pi computers, in 2015. On 25 July 2026 he announced "gpiozero flow," a proposed website where users could connect devices by dragging them on screen. Nuttall built the interface using Claude, an AI assistant from Anthropic, because the project needed JavaScript skills he lacked. The software is installable; documentation does not yet cover flow.
