Christchurch Hospital plans tents for patient overflow despite winter funding boost

Christchurch Hospital is planning to pitch tents outside for patient overflow this winter, RNZ reports. Emergency department corridor beds are being angled to fit more patients. The measures come despite a $25 million government funding boost in March and Health NZ projecting 103 extra winter beds by mid-July.
