Christchurch Hospital may use tents for extra patients this winter

Christchurch Hospital may set up tents outside to cope with extra patients this winter, RNZ reports. Beds in emergency department corridors are being angled to fit more people. This is despite the government giving $25 million in March, and Health NZ expecting 103 more beds to be ready by mid-July.
